Cookies Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how SightScape uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser storage) on our Platform, what they do, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and tracking pixels. They help a site remember your session, your preferences, and — where you allow it — measure how the site is used.
Cookies and Storage We Use
We keep our use deliberately small. The Platform uses:
- Essential cookies — required for the Platform to work: keeping you signed in securely (session cookie), remembering your language (Arabic/English), and remembering your cookie-consent choice (the ss_marketing_consent cookie). These cannot be switched off because the site cannot function without them.
- Functional browser storage — used to remember in-progress state on your own device, such as an unfinished checkout or a signed-in profile display. This data stays in your browser and is not used for tracking.
- Privacy-friendly analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall site performance. It is cookieless: it does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across sites.
- Advertising measurement cookies (only with your consent) — if you accept marketing cookies on the consent banner, the Meta Pixel loads and may set cookies (such as _fbp) to measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms. If you decline, the Pixel never loads and no advertising cookies are set.
Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party advertising technology on the Platform is the Meta Pixel, and it is loaded strictly after your consent. Payments happen on our payment partners' own secure pages (AlinmaPay, Tamara), which operate under their own cookie and privacy policies.
Managing Your Preferences
- Consent banner — on your first visit you can accept or reject marketing cookies. Rejecting them does not limit any feature of the Platform.
- Manage cookies — you can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" control in the page footer, which opens the privacy-preferences settings.
- Browser settings — you can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform (such as signing in) from working.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time — for example if we add or remove a technology. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
